Abstract

This work deals with the applications of thermo fluids engineering. It introduces a design innovation “ThermoFluidic Coil” as a response of an engineering challenge, which is “How to heat the heavy fuel oil (HFO) in the cargo tankers up the pouring point in the cold climates in order to make it pumpable from these trucks to the storage tanks without using steam heaters and without forcing the subcontractor (truks owner) to make corrections in their trucks”.
