Estimation Of Area Coverage Probability Of OFDM Signal At 2.3 Ghz Band For Suburban Environment Using Path Loss Models

This paper aims to investigate the performance of various path loss models for determination of the signal strength for wireless network at 2.6GHz in Suburban Town of India . The next generation of mobile wireless communication is based on OFDM technology. The COST 231model takes into consideration the growing suburban situation which takes care of LOS and Non-LOS propagation based on diffraction and scattering.
